About the LitNum Summer Camp

The LitNum Summer Camp is an initiative by Aikarthya designed to strengthen Literacy and Numeracy skills among students in underserved communities. The program uses engaging activities, storytelling, interactive games, and real-life problem-solving to make learning fun and meaningful.

As a LitNum Summer Camp Facilitator, you will:

Key Responsibilities

Session Facilitation & Classroom Engagement

1. Conduct two interactive sessions per day, for a group of children.

2. Use creative storytelling, activity-based learning, and hands-on numeracy exercises.

3. Maintain a fun and engaging learning environment while ensuring learning outcomes.

Student Progress Tracking & Reporting

1. Observe and track student participation, progress, and challenges.

2. Share daily reports and reflections with the Aikarthya team.

Internship Details

·   Duration: 4-6 weeks (Summer Break)

·   Location: On-site (TBD)

·   Stipend: ₹7000 (Certificate & Letter of Recommendation provided)

Who Should Apply?

·   TFI Year 1 Fellows who love working with children and designing engaging learning experiences.

·   Passionate about early-grade literacy and numeracy development.

·   Skilled in classroom management, storytelling, and interactive teaching methods.

·   Able to mentor a teacher while effectively handling a batch of 20 students per session.
