Why we start with teachers

One teacher. A whole classroom, every year.

In many community schools, teachers handle large, mixed classes with few materials and little support for their own growth.

We believe that when a teacher grows, every child in that classroom grows too, and the next class after them, year after year. Our vision is a future where every classroom is led by an excellent teacher.

So we develop passionate teachers and school leaders, and walk with students as they plan what comes next.

Can I stop my monthly contribution?

Yes, at any time, at no charge. Your bank or UPI app tells you at least 24 hours before every debit. Cancel the mandate in your UPI app, bank or card provider, or write to hi5@aikarthya.org.in and we will cancel it for you.

Will I get a receipt?

Yes. A receipt comes by email once each payment is confirmed.

Can I claim a tax deduction?

Aikarthya Foundation holds provisional 80G approval for assessment years 2026-27 to 2028-29 (under the Income-tax Act 2025 this is Section 133). Your tax certificate needs your PAN and your name as on it, which we ask for on your donor profile straight after your payment.

Can I give from outside India?

Not yet. We are not registered under FCRA, so for now only Indian citizens can give, from their own Indian funds.

Can I give just once?

Yes. Choose One time at the top of this page, or under any contribution. You pay once, today, and nothing more is taken later.

Can I change my amount?

Write to us and we will stop the current contribution and help you start a new one at the amount you want.

I represent a school or a company. Can we work together?

Yes. We have separate plans for schools, and we arrange partnerships with companies directly. Write to hi5@aikarthya.org.in.
